Aaaaahhhh.... school'd been really loading me down with a lot of work lately.  Project after project, test after test, and my grades in math are low for the first time.  @.@  It's so depressing, I don't want to talk about it.  (Don't think you want to hear about it anyways)

Sooo, yesterday I finally got my own camera, so maybe there'll be more pictures up here.  ^-^  I got so excited yesterday, I started taking pictures of random stuff on my desk!  >:D



Ehehhehehhe, random picspam~  I'm no photographer, so don't expect beautiful, masterpiece images from me. XD

What else, what else?  Umm.... Ah, so.... I still haven't watched the pv for Before I Decay yet  >_____<  I'm one of those people that HAVE TO wait for their copy to arrive before they spoil it (though I was weak and listened to the single anyways >.>)  So... please don't spoil it~  =w=  Can't wait to see it~  Maybe it'll motivate me to draw again, since I'VE HIT A WALL with that... Eh, I think all that schoolwork I said I wasn't going to mention has got to me.  It makes me all lazy and unmotivated... So what have I given up on (temporarily I hope)?  It's under the cut.

 

Besides that... in my art class, we're painting furniture, so if I can get a shot of my table/stool thing on Monday or sometime next week, I'll post it too.  We had to pick an artist from 1960-now and copy a piece by them onto the furniture.  Could be any artist, so there were people doing stuff from movies, illustrations from popular books, art from DeviantArt, etc.  Guess what I did!  >:]  Now that I think about it, I kind of wish that I picked some sort of album cover.... but I'm having fun witht eh one I'm doing, so I'm not complaining too much about it~

And.... my fire detector's driving me crazy!!!  I need to go change the batteries...

First off, IT CAME, IT CAME!!!  I JUST GOT IN IN THE MAIL, MY COPY OF DIM!!!  I'M CURRENTLY IN THE PROCESS OF LISTENGIN TO IT (THIRD TRACK), AND I LOVE IT ALREADY!!! XD

I didn't write as soon as I expected, so in this post, I'll finish up the trip

 

This is probably my last entry until I return home. So, let's get started. :D

For our last day in this region of the country, we returned to DC to see what we missed yesterday. We still didn't see everything... I wanted to go to he art museum (which we pretty much skipped over yesterday) but we were dropped off at the wrong street. Since we spent so much time taking pictures at various monuments, we had only about an hour to go to museums. We went to the Air and Space museum instead. It wasn't a disappointment, though! Even though we were there for a short amount of time, it was still pretty fun. I went with my cousin to the flight simulator. He kept flying the "plane" upside-down. XD. My feet were touching the ceiling of the cabin. It was a shirt ride, but it was fun anyways. Again, we didn't really do much today, so after that, we went home.

When we got back, it was dark, so the fireflies were out again. Since it's our last night in Virginia, we went out to catch the fireflies. It was a lot of fun! I caught only three, though. X]. The city girl is not too good in the "woods". We brought them inside and watched them blink for a while, then let them go.

Aaaand... after that, we sat around watching TV (which we're actually still doing right now) while petting my cousin's pet gecko. It may sound strange, but that gecko is so cute~. He (or she) is kinda like a mini-cat... He arches his back when you pet him and he actually likes it when you rub his head X]. He actually didn't have a name until we got here, so I named him Bumpy Beast for my cousin. XD

Anyways, I gotta go to bed now so I can wake up early tomorrow to return to Syracuse. So, bye until I'm back home. :]

So, continuing from last time... Well, maybe I should add a little more detail to the Statue of Liberty thing... Nah, it's not that interesting. We just looked at it and took picures as usual. So, after that, we went over to Brooklyn to see my dad's cousin's friend's house (wow, that's kinda confusing). We had steak that night. :D. Actually, I think I already mentioned that in the previous entry. Now, from where I left of last time.

So I got Wifi today. I'm gonna post before my iPod runs out of batteries.

So, this isn't going to be very interesting... XD

I spent the whole day flying today, first from California to New York City, then from there to Syracus. Now, I'm in the airport at Syracuse waiting to claim the baggage. It's late, and I'm tired. It's strange how sitting in one place all day can still be so tiring... Ok, that's all for today.

Oh, I also heard that there won't be Wifi where I'm staying, so Im not sure how I'll update later on... We'll see, I guess
